OUR ECOSYSTEM

Built for Holistic Learning

At BABINA Institute of Nursing, we offer more than just classrooms—we provide a nurturing ecosystem for academic, clinical, and personal growth. From modern labs and advanced hospital tie-ups to secure hostels and enriching co-curricular spaces, every facility is designed to prepare future-ready nurses. Our infrastructure reflects our commitment to excellence, compassion, and real-world readiness in nursing education.

The BABINA Institute of Nursing is equipped with well-furnished, spacious, and well-ventilated classrooms designed to create an optimal learning environment. Each classroom is integrated with modern teaching technologies, including audio-visual aids, projectors, and smart boards to enhance the teaching-learning experience. These facilities ensure that students receive instruction that is both engaging and effective, in line with contemporary educational standards.

Labs/ Departments

The institute is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories designed to provide students with hands-on training in key areas of nursing practice. These include the Nursing Foundation Lab (with Adult Health & Advanced Nursing), Community Health Nursing Lab, Nutrition Lab, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing Lab, Child Health Nursing Lab, Pre-Clinical Science Lab, Audio-Visual Aids Room, and a fully-equipped Computer Lab. Together, they ensure students build strong theoretical knowledge and essential clinical skills.

Hostel Facilities

The BABINA Institute of Nursing provides safe, spacious, and well-ventilated hostel accommodations for students, ensuring a home-like environment that promotes both academic focus and personal well-being. The hostel offers 24-hour security, safe drinking water, proper sanitation, a reading room, recreation room, sick room, visitors’ lounge, and telephone facility. A well-managed mess serves hygienic and nutritious meals tailored to students’ dietary needs. Students are expected to strictly adhere to hostel rules and maintain discipline. Ragging is strictly prohibited, fostering a secure, respectful, and harmonious residential environment for all.

Community Field Visit (Posting)

Community field visits offer students valuable real-world learning experiences, bridging classroom knowledge with practical situations. These visits help students understand how their education applies to solving real-life problems while promoting socio-emotional development. By interacting with diverse communities and perspectives, students become more empathetic, tolerant, and socially aware. The BABINA Institute of Nursing has obtained permission to provide community exposure at the following government health centres: Urban Primary Health Centre – Mantripukhri, Imphal West, and Primary Health Centre – Sawombung, Imphal East.
