Admission Procedure

Application form and prospectus will be available at the office of the college.

Completed application form should be accompanied by the following documents:

  1. Original Class X marksheet.
  2. Class X original/provisional certificate.
  3. Original Class X admit card.
  4. Original Class XII marksheet.
  5. Class XII original/provisional certificate.
  6. Original Class XII admit card.
  7. Original Class XII character certificate.
  8. Original Class XII transfer certificate.
  9. Migration certificate.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission

To be eligible for admission into the B.Sc. Nursing programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Entrance Examination: Must have cleared the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by the Directorate of Health Services, Government of Manipur, with the minimum qualifying score.
  • Age Limit: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
  • Candidates with a science background who have passed the qualifying 12th standard examination (10+2) must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
  • In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, the marks obtained in three core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for general category candidates.
  • Candidates shall be medically fit
  • Married candidates are also eligible for admission.

At BABINA Institute of Nursing, students are expected to always uphold the highest standards of discipline and responsibility

Discipline and Conduct
Students are accountable to the Principal for their behaviour and conduct, both on and off campus. They are expected to demonstrate respect, integrity, and professionalism in all circumstances.
Students must make every effort to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the institute and hospital. They are expected to treat all property with care and report any damage or issues promptly.
A minimum of 80% attendance in theory and 100% attendance in practical sessions is mandatory in every subject to be eligible to appear for the examinations.
Any wilful damage to college or hospital property will be considered a serious breach of discipline and dealt with accordingly.
In case of emergencies requiring a student to leave the campus during the day, prior approval must be obtained from the class teacher or supervisor. Additionally, a written letter from the parent or guardian must be submitted.
If a student is to be withdrawn from the institute, a written request must be submitted by the parent or guardian, clearly stating the reason for withdrawal.
Any violation of rules will result in disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by the institute. In serious cases, dismissal from the college may be considered
Any decision taken by the Principal shall be final and binding on all students.
The rules and regulations are subject to change. New rules may be introduced from time to time, and all students are expected to comply with them without exception.
